This is a must read! A great book for a day at the beach!
My initial reaction to the first few pages... this guy is an insensitive prick with a twisted outlook on life." I instinctively wanted to slap him and give him a piece of my mindwhat an asshole! Indeed, an asshole you find yourself rooting for how sick is that?
I was impressed with the author detail for attention in his account of Karst ìdaily grind" at the IRS and the horrific descriptions of his co-workers. I found myself wanting him to get canned and sent to jail!
My opinion of Kris changed at the point in the book when he meets the object of his affection. Oddly, I found myself empathizing with and consoling him; he showed his heart. This guy has a heart???
Like a rollercoaster, this book will take you up, twist you around, and bring you back down. It is hilarious, suspenseful and in a somewhat perverted way, romantic. It will have you hating, loving and mourning????? Kris Karst.
Will Kris return? Inquiring minds want to know!
